UGBSA Unites at 2025 Picnic

The United Georgia Beauty Supply Association (UGBSA), led by President Mimi Park, held its annual picnic on Sunday, June 1, 2025, offering members a refreshing break from daily routines and a chance to strengthen community ties.

The day began with a two-hour hike under the crisp early summer sun. As members walked together through the fresh air and scenic trails, the sound of lively conversations and laughter filled the air.

Following the hike, a delicious spread of homemade dishes awaited. Favorites like burdock gimbap, fish cake soup, and marinated pork bulgogi were especially popular, delighting everyone’s taste buds.

In the afternoon, the fun continued with a series of games and team activities. UGBSA’s picnic classics—like bingo, hula hoop challenges, and traditional Korean jegichagi—were joined by new team games, including “Pass the Ball Between the Legs” and a lively gesture-based word guessing game. Divided into Blue and White teams, members showcased the same passion and perseverance they bring to their businesses in a spirited but friendly competition.

The picnic wrapped up around 6 p.m., with members heading home already looking forward to next year’s gathering. Filled with shared laughter, sweat, and joy, this year’s event served as a meaningful pause to recharge and reconnect.
